Windows Welcome Screen appears since "ASP.Net Machine A..." account created
Until recently, the Windows welcome screen was always bypassed when my system booted. I only have one user a/c and it does not have a password. Some recent maintenance created an account called "ASP.Net Machine A...", which apparently is associated with system functions & is not a real account that someone can logon to. Despite this it's had the effect of forcing the Welcome screen to appear even though only one real account is shown for selection. Surely the logon process can be modified so that unusable accounts don't figure in the calculation of whether the Welcome screen should appear. I understand that I can delete the ASP.Net account but that's a poor bandaid solution, and has other ramifications. 1 person got this answerI do too

I tried Option 1. The only thing is, I am the only user and I don't have a password. What do I do now?
